Our Furry Friends Connolly Manor contacted the Taylor County Humane Society. We felt our residents would thrive from the benefit of having loving animals in the facility. .jpg) The Taylor County Humane Society put us in contact with a foster mom of theirs. The foster mom selected two cats for us. She said, "I have two amazing boy cats who are the most loving and laid back cats I've ever seen. I think they would be perfect with the residents at the Manor. " We set up an appointment to see if the residents enjoyed the cats and if the cats enjoyed the residents. The results were outstanding. Not only do the residents enjoy the loving manner of the cats, they are also tickled with the playfulness of the cats. We also have had visitors to Connolly Manor who have come to the office in search of our new furry friends. On one visit, a visitor got down on their hands and knees in search of our furry friends who were having a siesta under the office desk.

Patch He is our youngest cat. He is black with white patches. He has a big bushy black tail and a very cuddly manner. We recently lost him for a brief period only to find him napping under the lap blanket of a resident who was watching TV.

Stewart He was with his foster mom the longest, 1-1/2 years. He is a beautiful reddish blond. He loves exploring the hallways, chasing a lazer beam, and napping with the residents in their beds. He also loves lounging on the office chair.
