The Taylor County Humane Society put us in contact with a foster mom of theirs.  The foster mom selected two cats for us.  She said, "I have two amazing boy cats who are the most loving and laid back cats I've ever seen. I think they would be perfect with the residents at the Manor. "  We set up an appointment to see if the residents enjoyed the cats and if the cats enjoyed the residents.  The results were outstanding.  Not only do the residents enjoy the loving manner of the cats, they are also tickled with the playfulness of the cats.  We also have had visitors to Connolly Manor who have come to the office in search of our new furry friends.  On one visit, a visitor got down on their hands and knees in search of our furry friends who were having a siesta under the office desk.
